Here are five must-see shows to enjoy on your girly night out.

1. Starlight Express

One of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most popular productions, Starlight Express is currently enjoying an extended revival at London’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. Entirely performed on roller skates, it follows Rusty, an old steam train, who battles against modern locomotives to achieve his dream. Can the legend of the Starlight Express inspire him to chug to victory? As one of the best West End shows of the moment, it makes for an uplifting night out.

2. The Wizard of Oz

Take a nostalgic journey back to Kansas and relive your childhood memories with The Wizard of Oz. From Dorothy’s red slippers to the Tin Man who longs for a heart, you can reconnect with all your favourite characters. And don’t forget The Wicked Witch of the West; she’s sure to cause more than a problem or two - but all’s well that ends well, right? The best West End theatre shows have plenty of twists and turns and this heartwarming story is no different. Head down the Yellow Brick Road with your friends and enjoy a day out to remember.

3. Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular

Featuring the finest international circus stars and musical theatre talent from the West End, this show promises to be a visual spectacle. With Creative Director Simon Hammerstein at the helm - mastermind of Usher’s sold-out My Way Las Vegas Residency - you can expect nothing but magic.

4. The Cabinet Minister

Heading to the Menier Chocolate Factory for a limited run is Arthur Wing Pinero’s breathtaking production The Cabinet Minister. This brand-new adaptation by Nancy Caroll and director Paul Foster tells the story of Sir Julian Twombley. His wife and son have run up massive debts and his political reputation is in the balance. The House of Commons is far from a safe space for him, and the newspapers are sniffing blood. Can he save face and hold onto his sanity?

5. A Sherlock Carol

Combining the investigative prowess of Sherlock Holmes with the haunting story of A Christmas Carol, this unique mashup is a perfect choice for a festive adventure with the girls. When a grown up ‘Tiny’ Tim Cratchit implores Holmes to investigate the murder of his reformed benefactor Ebenezer Scrooge, Holmes must overcome his own ghosts to crack the case.
