As an Australian musical theatre icon and one of the country’s most sought-after performers, Trevor Ashley takes to the stage as Gaye Cliché. No stranger to the spotlight, Ashley is a cabaret queen, becoming the fan favourite and runner up in Queen Of The Universe, a global drag singing competition hosted by Graham Norton. His theatre credits include Thenardier in Les Miserables, Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, Miss Understanding in Priscilla Queen of the Desert: The Musical and Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Owain Williams dazzles as Drag Queen Mitzi Mitosis - off-stage name Anthony ‘Tick’ Belrose. In a role made famous by stars such as Jason Donovan and Noel Sullivan, Williams now brings this much-loved character to life in Priscilla the Party. Since graduating from The Royal Academy of Music with a distinction and becoming an associate, Williams has appeared in many stage shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Merrily We Roll Along, Dick Wittington, Godspell, Taboo and Jack & The Beanstalk.
Non-binary actor, Dakota Starr, takes on the role of Bernadette Bassenger, a recently bereaved transgender woman who joins Tick on the tour of a lifetime. Starr trained at LAMDA and has enjoyed many theatre roles with credits including Fisherman’s Friends, The Girls, and Troilus and Cressida. Dakota’s screen credits include The Duke, Emmerdale, Outlander and The Magnificent Eleven.
Reece Kerridge plays flamboyant young drag queen Adam AKA Felicia Jollygoodfellow. Kerridge appeared in Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again and has many theatre credits to his name including arena tours of Peter Pan, The Book of Mormon, The Spongebob Musical, Shrek The Musical and Top Hat. He’s the founder and co-host of Sit in the Stalls radio show and regularly performs as Drag Artiste Gracie Lou.
Celebrating thirty years since the film came to our screens and 18 years since the musical wowed the West End, Priscilla the Party promises to be a memorable experience.
