Come for a walk in the Park, in the Dark…

As the nights draw in, Syon Park in West London once again hosts the Enchanted Woodland, which sees the 600-year-old gardens transformed by a display of lights and music.

Now in its 16th year the trail winds through the arboretum, passing the sixteenth century Syon House, and ends at the spectacular Great Conservatory.

An array of lighting effects – from high-tech lasers to low tech
candles – illuminate the visitor’s way through the trees. The event is put together by a team of lighting designers and Syon staff so you can even ask them about the trees!

This year brings even more food options than ever before. A vibrant Pop-up Food Village offering a range of hot and cold food and drinks will be available including Chips, Bao Buns, Mulled Wine, Hot drinks, Pizza, Burgers, Churros – chasing for details and links to stall holders.

Group discount is bookable online and is only avaliable on adult tickets subject to avalibility. All tickets must be booked for the same date and entry time. Discount will apply automatically upon checkout.

Quieter Sessions

Quiet Sessions are reduced capacity sessions for people with disabilities and their families.  
These are especially suitable for visitors with hidden disabilities and offer an opportunity to enjoy the Enchanted Woodland in a less crowded environment.  
These sessions are limited to 150 people per time slot and proof of disability must be provided at time of booking.

Proof of Eligibility can be, but not limited to, any of the following documentation:

• Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate)
• Certificate of Visual Impairment
• War Disablement Pension
• AFIP (Armed Forces Independence Payment)
• Continuing Healthcare Package

Access tickets are the sold at the standard adult or child price, however you are entitled to one free ticket for an essential carer bookable in the main checkout.

About two thirds of the route is tarmac and the rest is gravel.  Please bear in
mind that it is winter and the changeable weather can affect the paths.

Assistance dogs only. No other dogs or animals will be permitted.

The route is just over a mile long.  We recommend you allow about an hour. 
Some people spend much longer but the lights go off and the route closes at
9.00pm.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. Enchanted Woodland runs in late autumn and is not a Christmas event.

If you book online your tickwets will be sent to you automatically. There is no need to print them off, you can show the email on your smart phone or download them to your phones wallet.  

Please make sure you have the ticket ready for scanning when you arrive.

If you lose or forget your ticket please email [email protected] as soon as possible.

Please check your ‘junk’ or ‘spam’ folders. If your confirmation email has been delivered to one of these folders, please add our address to your saved contacts. If you haven’t received a confirmation email at all, please contact us at [email protected].

Tickets are non refunable unless the event is cancelled by the venue, in which case all affected customers will be elegable to a refund or exchange into another date. 

You can exchange your tickets to another timeslot free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time, to do this email [email protected]

3 - 15 years inclusive.  2 and under are free and do not require a ticket.

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Yes, however we anticipate most nights will sell out so to guarantee entry please buy your tickets in advance.  When the event is fully sold out there will be no tickets available to purchase on the door.

Please arrive at the entrance at the start time on your ticket.  Please be aware there may be queues.  There is no time limit once you are on the route but lights go off by 9.00pm.

If there are queues you will be asked to wait however, we will endeavour to
get you in as soon as possible depending on capacity.

Yes, we have toilets at the start and finish of The Enchanted Woodland, but
not on the route.

Yes, so wrap up warm, prepare for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes.

Different weather brings different atmospheres.  We have had snow before! 
We would only be forced to close for safety reasons. Check the homepage and twitter feed (@EnchantedSyon) for the latest information.
Please remember that this is an outdoor walk through the woodlands, so do
come dressed for the weather!

There is no cloakroom on site. Visitors will need to keep all belongings with
them.  Remember it is all outside and involves walking.

No, it is too busy and the paths are not suitable for scooters or bikes.

If changes to local or national covid regulations compel the cancellation of this event, then refunds or alternative dates will be offered.
