Musical Con 2024, the world's biggest musical theatre fan convention, returns to ExCeL London for a weekend long, not stop celebration of all things musicals.

Shows participating this year include Oliver!, Hamilton, RSC’s Matilda The Musical, Phantom Of The Opera, Hadestown, Les Miserables, Disney’s Hercules, Six, Mary Poppins and Why Am I So Single.

Over 100 special guests include Layton Williams (Caberet), Todrick Hall (Burlesque), Tobias Turley & Stevie Doc (Mamma Mia) and Tony, Emmy & Grammy award winning Broadway star André De Shields (Hadestown),

Meet the stars, celebrate the shows, learn from the pros and find your tribe with performances, interviews, panels, meet & greets, cosplay, photo opportunities, competitions, merchandise, singalong’s, workshops, masterclasses & fan meets.

Age Recommendations
There is no age limit but under 14's must be accompanied by an adult. Under 5's do not need a ticket.

ExCel London

ExCel London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London, E16 1XL

ExCel London is located at the former Royal Victoria Dock in East London. The Elizabeth Line and DLR are the quickest routes to ExCel.

Underground and Train

The Elizabeth Line and DLR are the quickest routes to Excel. Alight at Custom House for the west entrance or Prince Regent for the ICC and the east entrance.

Driving

Access to the car park is only via the A13. Please be aware that there is no access to the venue car park from Western Gateway or Seagull Lane. If you are travelling from central London or from the south, using the Blackwall Tunnel to access the car park and lorryways, please use the A13 and turn off on the A112 junction taking Tollgate Road southbound

FAQS

Musical Con is a safe space for all members of the musical theatre community. We want fans to be free, be fabulous and most importantly be themselves. Musical Con will not tolerate any discrimination, bullying or harassment of any kind. We ask all attendees to be respectful of each other and consider other attendees when doing cosplay, taking photos, queuing and interacting with special guests.

All guest appearances are subject to their professional availability at the time. Special guests also choose which activities they wish to participate in.

There will be food and drink offerings in the Musical Con hall. For a wider selection please see the venue listing here.

Yes there is a cloakroom on the ground floor of the Excel. You can use this to store your belongings for the day or if you need to store your cosplay during a workshop.

Queuing to the convention will begin on Saturday 19th and attendees will be let in in the following order from 10am:

Our Main Stage is standing room only with the golden circle area reserved for VIP tickets holders for prime main stage viewing. There is reserved seating for those with access requirements. Please see our Accessibility page for more details.

Seats will be found at the Back Stage Theatre where the talks, panels and demos are located.

If you need a little break or a place to refuel you will find seating within our catering area, and you can leave the hall at anytime and re-enter.

At Musical Con there is so much to see and do for musical theatre enthusiasts including over 140 hours programming that features cast reunions, special performances and show spotlights on our main stage. Talks, demonstrations and panels at our Back stage Theatre! A  marketplace and plenty of photo opportunities. As is typical for conventions workshops, masterclasses and stage door photo and autograph experiences are not included as part of your ticket.
